Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled candidate to provide teletherapy services to elementary students in New Baltimore, MI, covering a leave period. This position is ideal for professionals who are adept at using virtual tools to engage with students while addressing their speech and language needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-5.
- Provide direct teletherapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students, focusing on language and articulation disorders.
- Manage cases for students with mild Autism, ensuring that their unique communication needs are met.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to track student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Document service minutes and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Offer support in group settings, with the flexibility to work with 1-3 students at a time.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP license and certification to practice in Michigan.
- Experience with teletherapy and understanding of virtual intervention strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
