Job Description
Two openings available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in Orland, CA, serving a middle school setting. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to make a significant impact on student communication skills through innovative teletherapy methods. With a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of learners, ranging from preschool age through 8th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide teletherapy services to students, utilizing digital tools to enhance communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to implement effective strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet goals.
- Stay updated on best practices and regulations in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in teletherapy and knowledge of digital intervention strategies.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development for preschool to middle school age.
