Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a passion for helping students succeed. This position focuses on providing exceptional speech and language therapy to middle school students, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, primarily from preschool to 8th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that promote students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on best practices.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid CCC-SLP credential.
- Experience with teletherapy methods is highly desirable.
- Previous work in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and families.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Location:
- This position is based in Red Bluff, CA, serving a middle school population.
Working Hours:
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, aligning with the school calendar.
