Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Tracy, CA. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges through innovative teletherapy methods. With multiple positions open, there is flexibility to align caseloads with individual contractor experience and preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language skills for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address identified speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct teletherapy services to students, utilizing digital platforms to engage effectively.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification and active state licensure in California.
- Proficient in teletherapy techniques and tools.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations and knowledge of district policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students and families.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload while providing high-quality care.
