A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to the educational development of students in a K-12 setting. This position is located in Tonopah, AZ, serving middle and high school students from grades 6 through 12. The role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to support students' diverse needs for the upcoming semester.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices
- Competency in managing IEPs and working within school systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
Location:
Tonopah, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with identified needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
