Job Description
A bilingual professional is sought for a full-time position in Vancouver, WA, within an engaging elementary school environment. This role focuses on supporting students in a dual language immersion program and providing assessments for bilingual evaluations across the district.
Qualifications:
- Active or pending Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school settings
- Proficient in both English and Spanish
- Familiarity with bilingual evaluations and interventions
- Must be able to work in-person
Location: Vancouver, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment and therapy to elementary students, primarily in a bilingual context
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Conduct bilingual evaluations and offer insights on student progress
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
