Qualifications:
- Certification (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Proficient in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for 15-20 students with speech and language disorders, including 2 nonverbal students utilizing AAC devices
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate speech and language development within the classroom
- Conduct progress monitoring and adjust therapy techniques as required
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
