Location: Vista, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and direct services to a diverse student population.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of approximately 20 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive support plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions.
- Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions to enhance communication skills in students.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY).
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary and pre-k students.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and evaluation procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
