Job Description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a significant impact in the lives of elementary students. This full-time position is based in Warren, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year and involves working with a diverse caseload within an elementary school setting.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) supervision experience
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
Location:
- Warren, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students goals
- Monitor and document students progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
- Provide therapy in a one-on-one or small group setting to foster effective communication skills
