Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled professional in a K-12 educational setting located in Washington, DC. This contract position requires individuals to provide essential SLP services to students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP or related field
- Valid state licensure as a SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders
- Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language issues
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students requiring speech and language services
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
