This part-time position involves working two days a week with a manageable caseload of 15 students, allowing for meaningful engagement and impact within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- PEL Certification (Professional Educator License)
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school-age students
Location:
- Washington, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student services and progress
