An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential support to students in a middle school setting. This role focuses on creating an inclusive and effective learning environment for individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP licensure
- Active Illinois PEL
- Experience in pediatric settings, particularly in schools
- Proficient in expressive and receptive language development
- Familiarity with AAC devices and technology
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Location:
- Waukegan, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students communication needs
- Maintain records of student progress and adapt therapy as required
- Support students in using Assistive Technology and AAC devices as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate effectively with families
