Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
Location:
- West Bloomfield, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
