Job Description
Several positions are available for skilled professionals in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. These contract positions are located in Westerville, OH, and encompass seven openings, allowing for the possibility of diverse roles within the school.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Prior experience or knowledge of the school system and IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs and integrate goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
