Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated speech-language pathologist to support students from pre-kindergarten through high school. This full-time contract position is located in Wilmington, DE, and focuses on fostering communication skills in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Valid state certification and credentials
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with PreK-12 students
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions in compliance with school policies
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
