Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or equivalent
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and therapists
- Proficient in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Location:
- Fitchburg, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students under guidance of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions focused on communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and activities
- Collaborate with teaching staff to facilitate integrated support for students
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
