An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant looking to make a significant impact in an elementary school setting. This position is located in Kent, WA, and involves working with a diverse caseload of 30-35 students, primarily within the elementary grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and parents
- Familiarity with hybrid schedules and teletherapy practices
Location:
- Kent, WA (Elementary School Setting)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a conducive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Engage in direct therapy sessions and provide additional support as needed
