Job Description
An onsite position for skilled professionals is available for the upcoming school year in Modesto, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to support K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on enhancing communication skills and addressing the individual needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license
- Associate's degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with IEPs and school policies regarding speech and language services
Location:
- Modesto, CA, serving a K-12 student population.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language treatment plans
- Support students in developing communication skills as outlined by supervising SLP
- Collect data on student progress and maintain documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate students communication needs
- Provide individual and group sessions as directed by the supervising SLP
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
