Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a K-12 educational environment. This role is essential in facilitating communication and learning for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in SLP or related field
  • Valid SLPA certification or licensure
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Knowledge of current practices in speech and language therapy

Location: Sacramento, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assist SLPs in the delivery of therapy to students
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed
  • Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to support students' speech and language development
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes as required
