This full-time Monday to Friday role presents an enriching opportunity to champion our students' social-emotional development.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Illinois licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility
- Outstanding interpersonal and counseling skills
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored counseling and support services to address a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral hurdles
- Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and community resources to craft and implement effective intervention strategies
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and actively contributing to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Advocating vigorously for students' needs and rights within the educational landscape and the wider community
- Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in school social work through continuous professional development activities
