Exciting opportunity for a dedicated social worker in an engaging elementary school environment. This full-time position is set to begin on August 18th and will serve as an itinerant social worker across two elementary schools, providing critical support to students in need.

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work endorsement.
• Current School Social Work Licensure in Illinois.
• Strong background in social work within educational settings, particularly with elementary students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community resources.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to students across two elementary schools.
• Assess student needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support student well-being.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address a variety of social and emotional challenges.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services rendered.
