Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Experience working with students, particularly in the PreK-4th grade range
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and support services to students facing social, emotional, and academic challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, promoting healthy social skills and emotional development
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
- Advocate for students needs within the school system and the community
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Location:
- Plainfield, IL
This full-time position offers a 37.5 hours per week schedule, following a Monday through Friday format, with an in-person requirement to engage directly with students from PreK to 4th grade. The contract runs through the school year, starting August 19, 2025.
