Job Description
A dedicated professional is sought to provide essential social work services in a high school setting, focusing on students with learning disabilities. This full-time contract position involves working closely with a diverse caseload of 50 students, aimed at promoting their social, emotional, and educational well-being.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or higher
- State licensure or certification in social work
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities and goal-setting strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and academic challenges
- Develop and implement personalized goal-setting plans for students with learning disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive educational environment
- Conduct assessments to understand student needs and monitor progress
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for parents and staff on relevant social-emotional topics
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
