Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio license for school social work
- Completion of all Ohio Department of Education requirements for School Social Worker licensure
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Location: Springfield, OH
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with educational staff to create a positive and inclusive school environment
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for student well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state regulations
- Facilitate communication between school, home, and community resources
