An opportunity is available for a dedicated social worker specializing in the K-12 education sector. This full-time contract position is situated in Stanton, MI, and is intended for the complete 2025-2026 school year. The role focuses on providing essential social-emotional and behavioral support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and provide tailored social-emotional support and interventions.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student well-being.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans.
• Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and monitor student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license with a 310 endorsement.
• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Completion of a state-approved School Social Worker program.
• Registered with the Michigan Department of Education and licensed by the Michigan Board of Social Work.
• Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.
