Full-time and part-time roles are available with this contract set to begin ASAP - 06/12/25.
Qualifications:
- Valid LSSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) certification
- Experience in social work within healthcare or educational settings
- Familiarity with IEP systems, particularly MI Star
- Strong understanding of various disabilities, including EI, OHI, CI, and ASD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Warren, MI
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social work services to a diverse caseload of 30-40 students
- Deliver responsive and proactive support tailored to student needs
- Implement SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) instruction across grade levels
- Collaborate with staff to develop and modify IEPs as needed
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
