Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (LMSW or LSSW)
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school students
- Strong understanding of social-emotional learning (SEL) principles
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students, addressing the needs of both special education (SE) and general education (GE) populations
- Implement responsive and proactive services that promote student well-being
- Facilitate SEL instruction to help students develop essential social and emotional skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided
