Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Teaching License
- Current and valid certifications in Special Education
- Previous experience teaching in an Adaptive Self-Contained classroom
- Strong ability to collaborate with instructional assistants and support staff
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment tailored to varying abilities
- Collaborate with instructional assistants to facilitate effective learning experiences
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
