Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Boston, MA, and focuses on creating an inclusive and empowering learning environment for students with diverse needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational frameworks and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with varying disabilities
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs

- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and challenges
