Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of students in the Readiness Program, emphasizing early childhood development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and support students learning goals.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure successful outcomes for all learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in a Readiness Program or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage a small student caseload.
