An exciting opportunity awaits dedicated educators specializing in special education. This role focuses on fostering an inclusive learning environment for elementary students with diverse needs. Located in Chicago, IL, this position spans the 2025/2026 school year, with three openings available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student.
- Employ innovative and differentiated instructional strategies to enhance learning.
- Monitor and report progress towards IEP goals, ensuring effective communication with families and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic student development.
- Provide both push-in and pull-out support for students in ELA and Math.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education.
- Active Illinois teaching certification.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
