Qualifications:
- Certified Special Education Teacher in Montana
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team
Location:
Fairview, MT
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation as required by state and school regulations.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes social and emotional development.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and challenges.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to enhance teaching practices.
