Qualifications:
- Cross-Categorical Special Education certification required
- A degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with elementary students, preferably in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Proficient in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive educational experiences
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training
