Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education; Masters preferred.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant educational laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Experience in K-12 settings, particularly with diverse populations.
Location:
- Helena, AR, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes southwest of Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring that individual student goals are met.
- Create tailored lesson plans that accommodate the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student growth.
