An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized educational support in a school setting. This role focuses on fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for students with diverse needs, particularly within a Pre-K caseload.
Location: Hugoton, KS
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals to deliver effective push-in and pull-out services, ensuring students meet their IEP minutes.
- Create a structured and nurturing resource room environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to promote growth and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and fellow educators regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid state teaching license with endorsement in special education.
- Experience working with Pre-K students and developing IEPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create engaging and adaptive learning experiences.
