This contract position focuses on providing exceptional instruction and guidance to a self-contained classroom of K-3rd grade students, particularly those with Autism and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Create a structured and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educators License.
- Learning Behavior Specialist 1 Endorsement required.
- Proven experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in an elementary setting.
- Strong ability to manage classroom behaviors and create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
