Job Description

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with K-8th grade students
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Lawrence, MA
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students with special education requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the integration of students into the classroom environment
- Create a supportive and positive learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust IEP goals as necessary
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and educational progress
