ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher fora contract position located in the Limon, COarea. Job Details:

• Full-time
• 24/25 School Year
• Caseloads Details
  • High School (Full Time - 4 day school week):
  • 12 total students: including Multiple Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Autism
  • Only 2 students are nonverbal and use devices
  • We do have students requiring changing and feeding
  • Monitoring and supporting 4 paras that take students to gen ed classes
  • Following and instruction through a functional academics curriculum
  • Writing IEP's and running IEP meetings
• OR
  • Elementary Program (Full Time - 4 day school week):
  • 9 total students grades K-5
  • Multiple Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Autism
  • Students that require changing and feeding afew students that use AAC devices
  • Students with behavior plans to document and follow
  • Monitoring and supporting 5-6 paras that take students to gen ed classes
  • Help gen ed teachers modify work and assignments if needed
  • Following and instruction through a functional academics curriculum
  • Writing IEP's and running IEP meetings
• Gathering more details and additionaldetails upon interview

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching licensure in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to providing high-quality education and support to students
