Qualifications:
- Valid licensure in administration and special education
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably at the elementary or middle school level
- Strong background in team chair responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Commitment to student development and success
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students' learning and emotional needs
- Serve as a team chair during IEP meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective planning
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting students with special needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
