Qualifications:
- Master of Special Education
- Valid Oregon Teaching Certification
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in resource classrooms
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff
- Proficient in implementing various instructional strategies
Location:
- Lowell, OR
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored educational programs for students with special needs.
- Provide both push-in and pull-out services as outlined in student IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
