Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and personal care assistants to facilitate a supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
• Engage students in meaningful learning activities tailored to their unique abilities.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school-aged students, particularly in transition planning.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
