Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
• Proven experience working with K-8 students, particularly in an elementary setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and support personnel

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students with special education needs, tailored to their individual IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to student learning.
• Assess and document students progress, adapting teaching methods as required.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and IEP meetings as necessary.
