Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Create a structured, positive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other support staff to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet varying needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educators License.
- Learning Behavior Specialist 1 Endorsement.
- Proven experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in elementary education.
- Strong ability to manage and support students with behavioral disorders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
