Job Description

Qualifications:
- State-approved Special Education license
- Experience with mild to moderate cases preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators and support staff
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored IEPs to address the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure a comprehensive support system.
- Provide direct instruction and support in various subjects, adapting materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in accordance with school policies.
- Actively engage with students, fostering a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges.
