Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding opportunity to help students with diverse learning needs achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Provide direct instruction and interventions to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student success plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid State Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students.
