Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certificate in Deaf Education or related field

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
Location: Silver City, NM
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored educational instruction to meet the diverse needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state regulations.
- Utilize effective communication methods to enhance student understanding and participation.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent communication as required.
