Qualifications:
- Certified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in Florida
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, tailored to their individual needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with state regulations
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
