Qualifications:
- Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in inclusive settings
- Strong understanding of O&M services and IEP development
- Proficiency in progress monitoring and documentation
- OMS Certification from ACVREP or NBPCB
Location:
- Greer, SC (K-12 School Environment)
Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation and mobility (O&M) services as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and develop appropriate goals
- Write and update the O&M portion of IEPs, ensuring clear communication of student progress
- Conduct progress monitoring to evaluate and document student outcomes
- Manage Medicaid billing processes as required
