Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably with a varied age range
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- OMS Certification from ACVREP or NBPCB
Location:
Spartanburg, SC
Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation and mobility (O&M) services as outlined in IEPs
- Develop and write the O&M portion of IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with virtual consults to ensure comprehensive support
- Engage with students to promote independence and mobility skills
