Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in education, specialized in visual impairments, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Visual Impairment (TVI) for K-12 students.
- Previous experience working with children with visual impairments is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support to students with visual impairments, adapting materials and strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students visual capabilities and develop appropriate interventions.
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring they reflect each students goals and progress.
- Engage families in the educational process, providing support and resources as needed.
